Typical application scenarios
For small EUT like lighting equipment, radiated emission generated by common-mode current on cables is much higher than direct radiation from the device surface. The radiated disturbance level can be judged by measuring common-mode voltage. Thus, the CDNE method can replace field strength measurement (antenna method) for radiated emission tests.The EMI-2000B Conducted & Radiated Disturbance Test System is widely used for CDNE testing of lighting products.
